Sea Harbour in Rosemead

I am Cantonese. This is pretty much one of the few Dim Sum that i consider great in the United States. It is at the four star level if in Guangzhou or Hongkong. But since it is in the United States, I give five stars. You know what I mean if you are very picky on freshness and taste and have tried many different restaurants including those in Guangzhou and Hongkong. I don't come here or to any Chinese restaurant for service anyway. So if you are looking for great service but can't tell the difference of what is great dim sum this review might not be good for you.

Probably the best dim sum I've had, ever. Waits can be long but well worth it.

My first time at a place like this and I loved it!! Customer service was on point and the food was even better. We were in a privet room, so I don't know if that made it better but there wad a party of about 20 of us and the service level never dropped. I highly recommend this restaurant. I know I'll never settle for Panda Express again.

Price wise, I would rather get dimsum elsewhere for the time being since the only options they have now aren't great.

Super authentic dimsum. Don't bother with Yelp reviews. Most are uppity people who only care about customer service. This is probably the best dim sum I've had in all of Soiluther California. It's Vancouver-level good. Definitely worth the money.

I was hoping they've reopened. But I checked and they are only for take out. Having missing their dim sum, I Ordered some take outs today. This is a Great dim sum place. I like their famous truffle shaomai. The cha shaobao is one of the best in the San Gabriel valley. Unfortunately, the take out menu is limited. We ended up ordering the fried dumpling with minced pork, XO sauce with pan fried turnip cake, truffle shao Mai, glutinous rice, and steam Cha shao Bao. The truffle shao Mai is still as good as before and the aroma of the truffle is just irresistible. The fat in the pork was just the right taste combination with the truffle. The gluttonous rice is not that good compared to other dim sum places as the rice was to mushy, not to my liking. On the other hand, steam Cha shao Bao was made just like they do them in Hong Kong. I hope they will reopen soon for dine-in.

This is one of the better dim sum restaurants in the packed Chinese dim sum restaurant area. They let you order and then bring the food to your table instead of using carts. The menu has pictures if the food and price for each item so it's pretty easy to order. They have special gold foil shrimp dumplings and egg-bao. They are very tasty but not because of the gold :). Highly recommended.

Great spot for dim sum! The items are fancier hence the price increase but overall the food is good and plenty of parking!

Very nice place for couples or group gathering, very good selection of food at reasonable prices. Lots of parking space, handicap parking spaces available, clean and we'll stocked restrooms. Helpful, patient, very neat and well dressed wait staff. I'd recommend the place to everyone.

Every time we come to LA it go to Vancouver we go get Dim Sum at Sea Harbour. It’s just fantastic. They have a great picture menu that is easy to navigate and then an easy dim sum check off sheet to order the food (just match the numbers). Most staff or bi lingual. I noticed someone else on here complaining about servers in this Chinese restaurant speaking Chinese! Well, if someone doesn’t speak English just ask someone else. It’s GREAT. Get one of the salty egg yolk desserts if you love easy over eggs. It’s sooo good. I HIGHLY recommend dish #1 on the dim sum menu. It’s chicken feet, but they are amazing!

We had an amazing time in this place. We loved the excellent ambience and the menu. The staff members are very attentive. I am content we finally decided to visit this place.

One of the best dim sum place in town. Shrimp dumplings, pork ribs with black bean sauce, chicken feet, salt egg yolk bun, shu mai, shrimp rice roll, and durian flaky pastry were popular. Good amount of filling. Delicious. Light but descent flavor. Quality seems not consistent. Always packed on the weekend.

This place has a decently long wait depending on time of day, and parking is fairly limited but people do leave in groups so just have to find the right timing. Sea Harbour has great dimsum according to my friend and he was right, the food here was great! Everything tasted fresh, from the shrimp and meat to the skins of all the dim sum we had. It was a shame they did run out of a few of the more popular items on the menu, but we got a good spread of stuff too. The decor of the place is nice and clean which you can't really tell from the outside. It is on the pricier side of dim sum but it is worth the cost once in a while.

This is one of my favorite Dim Sum places. The food is really good, how ever the service is not. If you want anything you need be sure to ask for it.

Exceptional food, very welcoming staff members, regularly good mood. They charge reasonable rates and the food quality is excellent. Highly recommended.

The dimsum quality here is very top tier. I feel like the pricing is valid as I understand why it is pricier than most of the dimsum places on the area. However one thing I don't feel like the pricing was worth was the black har gow thing with gold flakes. It was $9 for a plate but I felt like their regular har gow tasted way better and much cheaper! My favorites we're their Siu mai, Chang fen , custard ball and the durian pastries. Beware though, we waited like 2 hours to get a table. They are really busy over the weekends as expected.

I love everything I tried. A little pricey but worth to try. The quality is great and I think they barely use the MSG. They mainly use Chinese but you still can see English Title on the menu.

Very good. Hadn't been in years and I'm really glad we tried it again. The golden lava balls are a must but didn't have anything we didn't like. Everything was perfectly prepared and served at the right temperature. Surprised to find there wasn't a wait on Saturday around 11:30.

Arrived 5 mins before opening and there was already a small crowd of people, this place is very popular on weekend mornings. Tried twelve things and the dim sum was pretty good overall. Things were very light in flavor for better or worse depending on personal preference. I liked how the dessert dishes were not too sweet but wish the dumplings and jellyfish salad had more salt or sauce. The service was generally pretty good and most of the food came out quickly.

Good clean and superb services, we came by to have lunch at this place after church. We were very lucky that after we were seated customers started coming in. It was a little crowded inside the restaurant, but after that the line was formed outside . The food were excellent and delicious. It really had a great qualities, no wonder this place was busy. We passed thru here so many times but had never eaten here. The noises were medium and the servers were friendly. We would be back again to this place to try out other delicious dishes beside the DimSum .

It's Americanized dim sum they didn't have any duck and pork belly I was on the expensive side but my phone is still liked it anyways the people that work there I kind of flight cold it wouldn't didn't really talk to you or look at you when they came to the table it was kind of weird but my feelings speaks Chinese so it wasn't a language area issue the menu is also in Chinese some parts of it, Red Lobster and abalone they had black truffles we tried it it was all right I think it was the oil instead of a truffle

Great dim sum at a great price. Be prepared for a long wait though, especially around noon on weekends.

I don't know why people don't consider Sea Harbour in the upper echelons of dim sum because it is consistently very good with some unique well executed items.

Upgraded and delicious dim sum. Enjoyed a great meal here today and little things like truffle sauce on the pork and shrimp dumplings brings new life to traditional dim sum. You'll pay a premium for the food, but it's worth it.

Food was so good! I was born in Guangdong, China and I believe the food here is extremely authentic Cantonese food. I only gave 4 stars because a waiter there tried to force us to pay more tips. Otherwise, it's a perfect dim sum place.

Excellent services, a gourmet exquisiteness that must try the life fish was so fresh n delicious.

I loved the food but I personally wasn't able to commute with the servers. My friend was able to order our food. Eventhough I wasn't able to communicate I still loved the food. It would be nice to have servers that speak English

Dim sum was good but the service is a bit slow. Probably because this restaurant is always full. The yellow custard bun was delicious!!!

The food was mediocre for the price. Shrimp dumplings and pork siu mai had a weird after taste that I have never experienced at other dim sum restaurants. The sticky rice had a salty duck yolk inside if you enjoy that. Best thing to order is the French style crispy pork buns and the bbq pork noodle rolls.

The best dim sum that I've had in a long time. We came in early so initially the food arrived pretty quickly and as they got busier it came out at a good rate and the staff was on it with the clean plates, tea pots, and clearing the devoured plates. Great variety of dishes to choose from and it's all amazing.

I don't live in LA but have been having dinner there every time in my last few trips to LA. Dishes I had were mostly very good and servers were reasonably attentive. Prices of the dishes, however, were somewhat over priced. That might explain why the dining room was only half filled when I was there.

Really good service here. Very attractive restaurant Room. My favorite here are the flaky pastry baked rolls, but the bao are good too. The chow fun were not quite as saucy as I prefer, so really more like 4.9 stars.

Delicious!! Everything I eat every time we come is always yummy!! I don't have any complaints other than a lot of smokers come here, so the outside front smells like cigarette smoke.
